GreenRoots – Regenerative Agriculture for a Sustainable Future

Empowering farmers, educators, and communities with knowledge and skills in regenerative agriculture to restore soil health, enhance biodiversity, and combat climate change.

GreenRoots is a 24-month Erasmus+ project dedicated to promoting regenerative agriculture through innovative education and training programs. By equipping farmers, educators, and policymakers with essential knowledge and skills, the project fosters sustainable farming practices that benefit both the environment and rural communities.

  • Workshops & Training: Hands-on training sessions on soil restoration, biodiversity-friendly farming, and climate-smart agriculture

  • International Mobility: Study visits and networking events for knowledge exchange across countries
  • Innovative Events: Hosting the GreenRoots Festival and other thematic workshops

Expected Impact

By advocating for regenerative agriculture, GreenRoots aims to support rural communities, empower farmers, and promote sustainable land management. The project aligns with the Erasmus+ priority “Environment and the fight against climate change”, contributing to a greener, more sustainable future. Project resources, training materials, and best practices will be openly accessible to educators and stakeholders across Europe.
